Cabinet of Curiosities is one of Canada’s most distinctive sources of props and set dressing for film, television, and the entertainment industry. From a single hero piece to full set dressing, our collection of oddities, curiosities, natural history, medical antiques, and the genuinely strange gives productions access to objects that are hard — often impossible — to find anywhere else.

Pieces from the Cabinet have appeared in numerous mainstream productions on Netflix, Prime and network television — period drama, horror, fantasy and crime among them. Set decorators and prop masters know what we hold; if you are working on something and want to know whether we have it, just ask.
On one major series, the production’s set decorator publicly credited Cabinet of Curiosities as the primary source for the show’s taxidermy, skulls, and unusual artefacts — the kind of pieces that give a fictional world its atmosphere.
How rentals work
Every piece in the Cabinet is one of a kind, so prop rentals are arranged individually. Tell us what you’re looking for — a specific object, a period, a mood, or a whole set to dress — and we’ll work with you on availability, terms, and delivery. We work with set decorators, prop masters, art departments, and photographers.
