19th century anatomic didactic Bock-Steger underjaw model cross section. Model is a representation of the left side of the mouth/denture, made of plaster, illustrating the bottom left nine teeth. The model reveals the nerves and karies, featuring an extensive cavity in the back exposed molar. Two teeth are cut away to reveal the root and nerve structures. We can also interpret the model to be that of a child as two adult teeth remain buried in the gum beneath the exposed teeth.
