Reliquary Skull of Count Vadislov Lepescu-collected 1919-Carpathian Mountains Romania

From a Hunting Expedition by Dr Rupert Lockfield and his 8 year old daughter Penelope. A classic example of the Strigoi, undead, Nosferatu species This specimen was obtained following the staking and decapitation of a “live” specimen which fortunately did not turn to dust after extermination.

The Rupert Lockfield Collection is an ongoing mixed media artistic project best described as a novel told through imagined artifacts. Each sculpture or “specimen” is carefully crafted in mixed media to expand on the legend of the fictional Victoria Era explorer and scientist Dr. Rupert Lockfield.
