Despite numerous claims, promotions and incredible claims, it is doubtful more than a handful of glass caskets were made. Of those that were made, few survive, and not only because they were objects meant to be buried. Creating a glass casket large enough to hold an adult corpse was an incredible undertaking, so to speak. Interesting to note lots MA197 through MA199 the Company name has been changed and the reference to ‘Glass Burial Case’ removed, one can safely assume the glass aspect of the business proved unrealistic.
