Antique Tibetan Prayer Box

Tibetan Ghau, Gao or Gaus were used to carrying sacred relics, magical charms, and medicinal herbs, and acted as portable shrines used for protection when traveling or used in the family altar. Contains a figure of Buddha wrapped in fabric. The front side is made of silver-plated copper and nicely embossed with floral decoration. The back and side wall of the Gao is made of copper and it can be opened.
